Future of sports car racing to be unveiled at Daytona
Grand-Am and its main sports car racing competitor in the U.S., ALMS, announced in September they will unify. The NASCAR-owned Grand-Am Series, founded in 1999, will act as the sole sanctioning body for sports car racing in the U.S. beginning in 2014.
