A Perth teenager has admitted hurling a rock from a bridge and smashing the windscreen of a car in which a baby and toddler were travelling. The High Court in Glasgow heard that Paul Booth was walking along a flyover on the city’s Western By-Pass last December when he threw the stone onto the A9 below. In other news; A jury has been urged to find a learner driver guilty of killing his girlfriend in a car crash in Perthshire, because he was responsible for a “catastrophic loss of control”. Laura Campbell died after Euan Tennant’s sports car crashed into an oncoming four by four on the A93 near Scone in September 2010. And in sport; STV News can reveal the SFA have written to ALL NINETY THREE member clubs asking if they’ve complied with rules regarding player payments over the last TEN years.
