Here’s the problem with leftist delusions about equality. It is indeed okay for the state to enforce laws that ensures restaurants do not bar black customers from eating at their tables. It’s madness to want the state to ensure that for every white customer in a restaurant there must be a black customer. This is a crucial liberal fatuity concerning equality and the role of the federal government and it’s one which I hope liberals meditate on and refine their position.

How, exactly, can the president effect diversity ownership in a free market Cenk? Can the president dictate who buys and who sells media outlets?
