  1. I dont think its weak.
I think that the traction controller is just a little, bossy.

  2. the brz is weak. needs wet pavement to drift. you are a boring loser.

  3. Drifting aside I wonder how this will affect race cars in japan, do I sense a Toyota/Subaru SuperGT rivalry almost as big as the Lancer/Imprezna rivalry in the WRC. To me that seems that it might be interesting.

  4. Love the car.. Don’t understand the ” drifting” thou.. It doesn’t make any sense to me.. I love rallying , road racing , but I cannot come to grips with “drifting” not sorry

  5. I never understood the whole original xB and new one, and how people thought the original was better. The new xB AKA Corrola Rumion is an all around better car. Scion failed because there appeal as a ricer’s wet dream wore off. The BRZ will help a little but RWD sports cars sell in very minimal numbers and the iQ has already been a sales flop in Japan where you would expect i to sell the best.

  6. The problem with Scion was that the lineup was neglected for way too long. The original xB was a success. Unfortunately, after the brand got stale – not helping was the xB follow-up which was too big to care. Now, with the BRZ and the iQ, things are getting interesting.

  7. There are three versions of this car, the Toyota FT-86 (Japan only, iirc), The Scion FR-S (Toyota’s American youth brand) and the Subaru BRZ. All cars are essentially the same, though pricing and options vary.

  8. All Scion ever was was a branch of Toyota intended to take them back to their 1970-1980s prowess where they had a young energetic client base looking for affordable reliable and economical transportation. They did this by rebadging JDM cars for the most part. It didn’t work out very well in the end.

  9. wait toyota version of the brz? i thought that would be the ft86… and scion is related to toyota? o.o i actually dont know just curious

  10. holding my breath until April 28 waiting for the Dodge to come out no wait thats sarcasm don’t give crap about Dodge products, and drifting for that matter

  11. cause it is. its like the miata mx5 well balanced but doesn’t have the power to push it around the track. both the brz/frs and the miata require different types of driving from other cars that have power behind them. these type of cars will force you to drive better because they require you to carry your speed through corners rather than power out of a corner like you would in mustang gt

  12. Still working on domestic TV distribution. Hopefully we’ll be able to announce something soon.

  13. Yes, that was already noted in the video. He also writes for Evo Magazine in the UK (or at least he used to), so he’s not exclusively representing a video series.
