Electric car vs bike: Citroen Survolt vs Agni Z2

We’ve already shown video of Citroen’s electric-powered Survolt concept car, and now it takes on an electric Agni Z2 motorcycle in the world’s first electric cars vs bike showdown
Video Rating: 4 / 5

On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, the HOT ROD staff takes a field trip to the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Through a series of driving exercises, the HOT ROD editors learn the basics of evasive maneuvers, heel-toe shifting, and road course driving both in the classroom and on the track. See what happens when six people, with no road coarse racing experience, are given the keys to high performance 2013 Grand Sport Corvettes. The weekend results in a little friendly competition amongst editors. HOT ROD Unlimited appears every other Friday on the new Motor Trend channel. www.youtube.com Subscribe now to make sure you’re in on all the action! www.youtube.com Facebook – facebook.com & facebook.com Twitter – twitter.com Google+ – plus.google.com Website – www.motortrend.com & http

  1. quelle merde vaut mieu entendre grogner le moteur que tentendre un bruit de trotinette pff

  2. The driver commentary is stupid and makes no damn sense. “drives pointy”? “you hear all the noises of the car which your not used to in a racing car”? wtf….does anyone else see something wrong with these statements?

  3. Supposedly this, can do 124 miles per charge and can charge within 2 hours

  4. OK THAT SUCKS!!!! screaming engines is 75% of viewing cars or bikes.

If it aint got fuel in its veins it aint alive!!

  5. Probably 80 – 100 miles. You do know how much 62 kilowatt hours are, right? You can power everything in the average American household for 48 hours.

  6. I’m 15, male, and I’m not judging but some of you guys are VERY sexist.

  7. that shit had me rolling when they left the line my RC car sounds better lol

  8. Watch EVO.tv on youtube Harry Metcalfe is still excited by automobile and is a very competent journalist. Whereas Motortrend has a few good journalists who are still enthusiastic. And then there are a few you wonder how they really got their jobs.Sub-par writing and boring on camera personalities. I suppose the can muddle along like Car and Driver has but at some point someone will make an exciting product to sink these two derelicts.

  9. I stopped watching :30 seconds in after seeing the crew. They’re all the same or should I say very similar. i guess this is the replacement for the “Grays” that we saw previously in another staff video. i understand this is a great job but gee whizz America is different now. The world continues to change yet some things remain status quo in the good ‘ol US of A. No matter what we do or contribute. but it won’t always be that way. You’re going to be outnumbered or die soon.

  10. I hear Corvettes get love in Germany… A Corvette to them is like a Lamborghini to us…

  11. What are you talking about? A zr1 in America is $110,000 – $120,000 , how would it be less when you have import taxes and shit like that

  12. hahaha 200,000? What the hell are you talking about kid? New ZR1 is 80 grand in europe! That’s the only reason europeans consider this filth a car

  13. Also, in the UK, we drive on the left side of the road, but Corvettes aren’t available in right hand drive. And like you said, for the sort of money you could buy any decent European super car that is just as fast, does better mpg, and has a much less “tacky” build quality. I mean, why pay more for less?

  14. I’m European too mate and where I live the ZR1 price tag is well over 200.000€ (140 for a Z06). And that’s just for the car. If you had all the bullshit taxes you’re talking another 40-50k.

  15. So what of Aston Martin, Porsche, and more niche vehicles like the M5 etc? All the same price range, all totally ignored by you. Why? Because you can’t have an argument when i’m correct.

What you call “decent” build quality, pales in the light of any of those – you’d know this if you wern’t trying to defend a cheap loud thrill ride and actually cared about a ‘driver’s car’.

  16. ok its 86,000 euros to buy from a US dealer and 140,000 euros to buy from a french dealer. i was just using USD to demonstrate the price difference no need to be a dick

  17. ZR1 is 184k in europe ? I am french, I live in france, the price is 140,000 euros at my nearest chevrolet dealership. you live in australia, please only talk about what you really know.

  18. you compare 200,000+ euros ferrari, lambo, to C5 or C4 corvettes ? you’re dumb. C6 corvettes have decent built quality and costs at least twice less than the millionnaire’s car you quoted, little dumb :) I think you’re still a child living in a dream world :)

  19. Fair point. I wouldn’t want to pay a Ferrari price for a Vette, not that I’d have the choice to do it.

  20. the ZR1 is 184k in Europe and 114k in the US. measured in US dollars. so they are a hell of allot cheaper in the US

  21. I’m European and I don’t love Corvettes. Shoddy build quality, plastic parts that you can push in with your hands, cheap plastic interior parts that you would expect on a <10k vehicle, the list goes on. They sound good and often go good – but you can get that with an Aston Martin, Lambo, Ferarri, etc. whilst having MUCH better quality.

  22. Man you say bullshit. I am european and corvette price goes from 77,000 to 96,000 euros. The ZR1 costs 140,000 euros. And last word, europeans LOVE corvettes as much as americans do. Here corvettes has a great value for money, and the Camaro SS too (40,000 euros). I’d love to have one !
