Ford doesn’t market the Mustangs in Europe.
No contest really–despite the long heritage of the name ‘Mustang’, the USA has never understood how to build all-round competent, attractive, inspiring driver’s cars… Face it, they actually manufactured heaps of ‘conveyances’ like the Pontiac Parisienne (and what did that have to do with Paris?). Meanwhile, Europe has produced so many good looking, dynamically inspiring and legendary driving machines… I’ll vote Benz every time… (or Alfa, Audi, BMW, etc, etc…)

This is the most stupidest drag race I have ever seen.. Please us an SL65 that matches the mustang to get the real results… Of course the mustang will win.. it’s got 200 more HP!! It also costs about 5 times as much. The Mercedes came very close also so really the Mercedes won. Do an SL65 vs Mustang. If the Mustang wins, then it is one hell of a car but that is unlikely..

Compare quality, comfort, equipment, ride, handling, technology, safety…. the Mercedes is better, by far. Worth paying more money for a Mercedes than a Mustang?. Well. The answer is yes, if you have the money. If you are a rich man, you own a Mercedes. If your are a poor man, you can’t own a Mercedes. It’s easy. But you can buy a Mustang. That’s great too.
I don’t know. Go to a Mercedes dealership with $60,000 and try to by an SL 65 AMG Black Series and see if they think money is an issue.

Anyone who drag races will tell you that a fraction of a second makes a huge difference. 2 seconds difference is a lifetime in racing–in addition, almost 3 to 4 bus lengths difference between the cars at those speeds.

The funniest part is that the GT500 shits on the C63 around a track as well. Even the Black series is slower around the track than a Shelby.
Old e55 amg beats this mustang? You’re either high or just an ignorant. This shelby gt500 is capable of doing 3.5 seconds from 0 to 60 and reaches 200 mph. Old e55 amg cannot match this numbers. Check it if you want
True. But again, you’re getting that type of performance out of a car that is about half the price. Having an extra 200 hp doesn’t necessarily help a real wheel drive car off the line. I’m sure the driver had to ease into the accelerator to keep the rear end from roasting the tires off. The extra horsepower is power on tap, in any gear, and makes the GT500 a 200mph cable car.

But then again if someone could buy the mercedes benz they could probably buy the mustang. Both are fun cars! I prefer the C63(its sounds like Thor!). But when you think about it with 660hp the mustang only beat the C63 at the 1000m with a full second lead, which isnt a lot for 200 extra hp!

It’s a simple video of a GT500 beating a C63 in close race. Then a bunch of people come out and start crying “Oh yeah, have it race a $300k+ SL 65 AMG Black Series, or have it race this, etc, etc., etc.” I guess I missed the part in the video where they said it was the faster than any Mercedes ever made, but apparently it says that somewhere because everybody’s vaginas are all chapped and they are compelled to list all the Merc’s that could beat it.
