I agree that Walter Röhrl has more merit because of the difference of power and technology between the cars then and now. But the fact that the road was 50% asphalt is not an advantage, because they have to set up the cars in an intermediate way between gravel and asphalt. Yo can’t go the limit of the car in none of the terrains. In the other hand, If the road is only gravel you set the car for gravel and go to the limit.
