  1. yea but add 300hp in both , the ls7 would take it like nothing and average over 20mpg and run 9′s and will last decades.

  2. z06′s have 1.13G skid pad and over 1.5G cornering G.
zr1 now has the laguna seca leaderboard. beating the ACR viper.

  3. 1966? You’re going a long way back aren’t you? The Corvette is a flagship for Chevy and indeed an absolute beast that can compete with cars 3 times the cost.
While the Vette’s interior is lacking to European standards, it’s reliability and cost to run is far superior to that of it’s performance rivals, e.g., Ferrari and Lamborghini.

  4. The Z06 LS7 is a SMALL block. First of its kind. that’s why its so special. its also the most expensive production engine ever for GM. another reason it doesn’t trickle down into other cars like the CTS-V or the Camaro ZL1. despite crate motor pricing it actually cost more than the LS9. since it is a true small block the cylinder walls where to thin for GM to risk selling and warranting it with a supercharger. hence the LS9. standard LS3 with supercharger and engine tweeks.

  5. I was talking about the same 2 cars. Why the hell would I make that comparison and not be talking about equal cars, weight, etc.?

  6. ? i just told you my point… it out handles the zr1 which is why it so close to the zr1′s times on the track, even with less power.
i had to draw that in crayon for you.

  7. The Z07 package, and the Edelbrock supercharger and the Z06 becomes a fucking monster.

  8. I dont’ care, the chevy 427 is not a small block. Neither is the 454, the 455, the 502, etc.

  9. And your point is?

That’s like blaming the sun for being powered by nuclear energy!

  10. That cackle when you let go of the gas..that shit make me all tingly inside

  11. 2:58, you all see how the hood is shaking? Yeah, when I pay 100K+ for a car I DO NOT want that. Chevy PLEASE for the love of God DO NOT MESS UP THE NEW C7! I am totally anticipated for the beast. Make me proud to buy an American car…

  12. Chevrolet, that’s my favorite another car… Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 car is awsome like a devil, and Chevy Corvette Z06 car is awsome too. Hell YES.

  13. stuff is upside down and blocking your way because it’s part of the mission, it’s supposed to make it more challenging
