  12. Ever seen a “Pro” body shop where the car as it comes from the booth is matt, and needs about half the coat buffed off. I use the same paint and do no buffing, it is truly “Gloss from the Gun” paint. Never bought a new car, always cheaper to buy used.

  13. I have seen worse orange peel on a brand new car, especially with the new water based paints they are using.

  14. … and especially if they’re CORDLESS! :P ~

Oooohohohoho! With EXTRA BLADES AND BATTERIES! lol.

Happy New Year Brian! I hadn’t told you yet. :)

  15. I think it’s important for everyone at some point in their lifetime to cut a car apart using nothing but electric powered hand tools. No sawzall allowed. Too easy.

If you cut different pieces of sheetmetal apart, like separating innards from the frame rails of a unibody car, cut into the cabin space and try to separate panels, you’ll see how the factory does things. Then it’s easy to recognize damage at a glance. Seam sealer’s always a tattle tale, & no factory fills spot welds with bondo.

  16. my misjudgement, lol. must be frrom outta the midwest then if it doesn’t have a front one

  17. very informative. if your looking its easy to tell if body work has been done, especially if your fixing a brake/suspension/bearing/wheel problem, and things stick out, look around the fender and sometimes stuff sticks out and you realize these more to it that what the customer told you.
you mentioned different textures to the paint, obviously they are different, but was there alot of color difference, i was always told you need to blend when just doing sections.

  18. Dude you’re hilarious. Your videos are super informative and I’m usually laughing at something too. I know this is unrelated to this particular video but I wanted to thank you for the Subaru engine videos. With your help and the help of some other videos I was able to rebuild my EJ25 and it runs like a champ. The head gaskets were leaking coolant pretty bad. It was dripping out and evaporating into the cabin so I could smell it. Now I can get another 125K miles out of it. Thanks!

  19. Pablo is a stud. He’s a real asset to his family and car owners on a budget. He’s a master of limited resource allocation!

  20. Lol fucking pablo is famous now bucause he came out in your video somehow …..very informative video thanks dude….

  21. thanks for this video………… it makes easier to detect the damage when buying a second hand car…………..

  22. That’s brilliant! That’s the most cost effective and reasonable tool I can think of for detecting variances in light refraction due to paint anomalies. Thanks!

  23. Another tip if looking for car damage: I wore a pair of polarized sunglasses to a car show once. In some cases the glasses made it possible to see where cars had been repainted. Two different brands of paint were noticeably different through the sunglasses, but when I took the sunglasses off the paints matched perfectly.

  24. I think you should look up the definition of “racist”, then decide if this video is still “racist”.

  25. I’ll Never get in that car lol its the car from hell and it’s out to get you o.O
