  1. You liar the Camry is not the most fuel eficient hybrid out there!
With my friends Sonata’s hybrid we were able to test your claims and verified that you are a liar. His ’11 Sonata hybrid beat my ’12 Camry hybrid going from SLC to Vegas.
His used 9.3 gallons of gas and mine 11.2 gallons. We both fill up at the same place and time and we drove together and again measure the gas consumed on Vegas by filling up again there. I hope to sell mine very soon so I can get me a sonata as well.

  2. So allow me to give a bit of on balance report of my ownership of the 2012 Camry Hybrid thus far. I’ve now had it for just over 2 months. Ironically certain imperfections in the road create a bit more reaction in the suspension than I’d like (like manhole covers and such) but average road imperfections and the rest are nicely soaked up where as the handling of the car is quite remarkable. The interior is superb and high end, the entertainment system is also top flight. I’m getting 43mpg in all.

  3. I wouldn’t say proven by Motor Trend. lol.
After 60 years around cars they still know nothing about them except the baloney the manufacturer hands them.
I think “auto journalist” is a drink isn’t it? Certainly nothing to do with Motor Trend, Car and Driver or Road and Track.

  4. I’m not a tall guy but the roof is too low – hit my head many times when I enter the car!

  5. american toyota camry is sucks there is no leather seat and doesn’t have permium audio, like jbl green edge

  6. Consumer Reports “used to be you needed a V6 for” 0-60 in under 8 seconds. Yes, that was 7 years ago, now, most 4 cylinders do that (Accord, Altima, etc.)

  7. The 2013 Fusion Hybrid gets 47MPG city versus Camry Hybrid’s 43MPG city ! And the fusion hybrid gets 44MPG highway, the Camry hybrid can’t do that either.

  8. fords are very reliable cars, the new fusion hybrid will get 47mpg city 44mpg hwy

  9. to think that a ford will make toyota look bad … you are an idiot.

  10. As Adam said, that isn’t financially do-able for some people. That said, many people do actually have cars for different tasks. For example, my family has a Hyundai Elantra (2011) as well 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada, one for commuting and the other for going to the mountains or when it snows, respectively.

  11. Because some people prefer space and a bit of extra power and more equipment, which this offers. It makes sense to have one car than lots of different ones for different things!
