A man has gone on trial accused of murdering Edinburgh book-keeper Suzanne Pilley, almost two years after her disappearance. David Gilroy has been accused of killing the 38-year-old “by means unknown”, then transporting her body to various locations in Scotland in the boot of a car. Gilroy has denied all the charges against him. In other news; Two men have appeared in court accused of plotting to murder the Celtic manager Neil Lennon and two other high-profile supporters of the club. They’ll go on trial at the High Court in Glasgow later this week. An allegation that the offences were aggravated by religious prejudice has been dropped by the Crown. And in sport; after securing Kilmarnock’s win at Ibrox on Saturday, Kenny Shiels says beating Dundee United would mean more than the win over Rangers. This episode has been edited for rights reasons.
