The front suspension is a double-wishbone unit while the rear is a multi-link suspension which improves stability. The steering is very light and precise. 1. Yes it does, but the V6 carries the extra weight to the car and although it smoother and more powerful, I think the 4-cylinder engine will be enough for most driver. The 4-cylinder engine is smooth revving and get very good midrange punch. The 5-speed auto is little dated, but it work well with crisp shift and good response.

  2. Actually Acura, because of the Acura TL SH-AWD, has a choke hold over similar sedan manufacturers like Lexus, Infinity, Nissan, Toyota, Chevy and most BMW models (5-series inc). It has more power than a Mustang or Challenger V-6 option and it has the most advanced variable torque handling system on the market. Audi, Acura and BMW have the best variable torque handling systems commercially available and due to programming, speed and power distribution differences Acura’s SH-AWD comes out on top.

  3. Yes it does have that option, however I’ve read that some people prefer the v4 vs. v6 because the v4 is less heavier and allows the sedan to be quite zippy and fun to drive standard rather than a v6 with a standard. However, it’s only something I read on a forum, and i’m only relaying this information on here as my view and opinion. Cheers, William (:

  4. the interior tries to be sporty but at the same time luxury? that’s a negative? every single half decent sports car nowadays tries to achieve both. it’s not like the 1990′s where it was 1 or the other. oh well I only watch these videos to see if he’s learned how to drive stick yet & not great granny shift. the wait continues!

  5. Fire this guy please, he just blables and doesn’t know shit about anythng

  6. you could slap on a couple bolt ons ie headers, full exhaust, intake should add 10-20 HP

  7. Lexus and Infinity have RWD cars…Acura is a lame choice…unless you opt for the NSX :)

  8. just pick up 2010, still debating if I should return it and get it brand new, for 9k additional.

  9. How is this car better than a Audi A4? not bashing, just curious. Someone help me out.

  10. I drove a 2010 TSX 4 cylinder, it’s not slow at all and doesn’t give off that horrible 4 sound.

  11. I still like TSX.Maybe it could be more powerful (4 cylinder ) ,but still way better suspension ( double wishbone and rear multilink) than newest ILX.

  12. Nice to see that red color back on the TSX, not sure it suits this model quite as well as the old one though. Still, a nice color, and a nice car!

  13. just buy a $200 tom tom. honda/acura navi’s are cumbersome and cost $2,000 extra.

  14. that’s what I said as well, and when you can get the 3.5 v6 on the TSX why don’t you just get the TL lol but I still like Honda I got a Silver 2011 Honda Accord 4 door EX-L 2.4 for 27k after everything, almost 300 miles brand new from dealer would had gotten the V6 but gas price kind on the rise in Houston Tx after this car I probably go with Lexus if Acura come out with something that catch my eyes

  15. So what’s the difference between this TSX and the ILX because to me they are both the same cars.

  16. @Ge0vone Keep the si man. You’ll miss that car. I don’t think the tsx has the same soul.

  17. I’m sorry. I’d love to see Acura achieve here, but they just don’t seem to do it for me the past several years. Mediocre performance, hideous interiors (it looks like George Jetson climbed inside and threw up all over the place)–I couldn’t bring myself to own one. The comparable Buick Regal, which I own, is the more sophisticated of the two (IMO) with it’s German character and styling. Even the Volvo S60 has more going for it. This is just a dressed up Honda. No thanks.

  18. This is great and all, but with 60k including tax , with the same money you could get a e650 amg that gives 600 hp, and its German engineering so it’s a bit more reliable. That’s a big issue with most American cars is that after 3 to 4 years the start to have major issues

  19. I OWN A SUPERCHARGED SRT8 300c and a Jaguar XJ-L. I thought this was gonna be the next car for me till Hurricane Sandy showed me just how hard things coulbe when you combine $4.50 gas with 10mpg and gas shortages. Now I wnt a Tesla model S. Check my page for the videos.

  20. this is a nice review. I saw this one earlier and thought it was informative, too (haha, “if you like to scare pedestrians, this car makes a great choice”)…it’s on Web2Carz dot com and should come up on the homepage! Really good stuff.

  21. It’s Naturally aspirated. Your probably comparing it to the cadillac cts-v, Mercedes E63, And Bmw M5 F10. Those cars make almost 100 hp more because they have twin turbo or are supercharged.

  22. Chrysler. PLEASE Turn one of these into a V8 Supercar already and come race us in Australia in 2013..

  23. Much rather have an m45. Also, what retard gets that shit in an auto?

  24. The Engine is very de-tuned and lazy due to emissions. I agree with you the power should be way up.

  25. Size is not all. It’s about many things so as compression etc.
American engineers prefer make bigger cylinders but less hard working.

  26. actually, a dyno run of 423 rwhp translates to 500hp at the crank…did this on a 92 degree day. A run on a 70 degree day would push out 510+. Definitely under rated from the factory specs.

  27. got 4.6 seconds with my new 300SRT on my 4th try. Did 5.1 seconds on my very first try….practice practice.

  28. The interior looks like cheap ass plastic, why do American car manufacturers make the interiors so cheesy?????????

  29. The only thing the SHO has on the SRTs is gas mileage lol but that’s what you sacrifice with na vs turbocharged. Performance, luxury, looks, and sales all point to SRT :)

  30. almost every testing magazine has the srt hitting 60 in 4.4-4.6. The last srt was supposed to hit it in 4.7-4.9. it’s not out of the question… lol
