A man has gone on trial accused of murdering Edinburgh book-keeper Suzanne Pilley, almost two years after her disappearance. David Gilroy has been accused of killing the 38-year-old “by means unknown”, then transporting her body to various locations in Scotland in the boot of a car. Gilroy has denied all the charges against him. In other news; Two men have appeared in court accused of plotting to murder the Celtic manager Neil Lennon and two other high-profile supporters of the club. They’ll go on trial at the High Court in Glasgow later this week. An allegation that the offences were aggravated by religious prejudice has been dropped by the Crown. And in sport; after securing Kilmarnock’s win at Ibrox on Saturday, Kenny Shiels says beating Dundee United would mean more than the win over Rangers. This episode has been edited for rights reasons. Amrit intervenes in Vimmi and Hetal’s argument and tells that Hetal was not the only one responsible for the family on the verge of splitting. Amrit tells Vimmi that instead of trying to teach Hetal a lesson, she should have counseled her. She also tells Hetal that she should not try to transform the family members. She adds that just by working in her own house she doesn’t become a servant, similarly by working in his own store, Karan does not become a mere employee there. Sweety arrives and Amrit tells Vimmi and Hetal not to let her know about the incident. The Gandhis get busy preparing for Bapuji’s birthday celebration. Mona sneaks out Bapuji’s telephone diary from his room and hands it over to Sejal to note down the numbers of his ex-students. Meanwhile, Baa directs Ashiq to design an outfit for Bapuji. Bapuji arrives there and asks what is going on. Bapuji tells Kalpesh to go on a walk with him. Sejal suggest that Hetal and her family should also be invited for the birthday celebrations. Bharti agrees to it. Meanwhile, Sweety comes with Parmeet and breaks the good news that her in-laws have forgiven her and are ready to accept Sweety back into their family. Sweety’s chirpy nature and happy attitude temporarily calms the tensed atmosphere in the Bedi family. Everyone is happy when Parmeet tells them that Sweety would stay with them for two-three days before heading home. Hetal, however, gets irritated.
