Everyone celebrates Yuvraj’s birthday. The priest, Baa and Menka indirectly taunt Savitri and the girls about the importance of his birth after four girls. Suryakant gifts Yuvraj a new sports car. Just then, Lakshmi apologises to Suryakant and says that all she wants is Saraswati to remain happy as long as she was at home. Yuvraj asks Suryakant to forgive Lakshmi at least for his sake. Everyone then goes to see the car, and Gauri asks where Lakshmi’s gift was but Suryakant looks with scorn. Savitri gifts Lakshmi a miniature idol of Lord Krishna. Later, Yuvraj’s birthday party is celebrated with great splendour. Kshitij too attends it. Menka sends Saraswati to fetch a knife and candle.
