A 19 year old man’s appeared in court following an incident in which a car windscreen was smashed on Perth’s Western by-pass. Paul Booth is charged with culpably and recklessly throwing a wooden fence and a large stone from a flyover on the A9 dual carriageway on Wednesday. Celebrations have been taking place at Cairngorm to mark the 50th anniversary of the first chairlift to the top of the ski slopes. Thousands of pounds worth of Christmas dinners have been stolen by thieves who broke into a family-run butchers and made off with turkeys and other festive treats.
