The 2013 Porsche Boxster base model is powered by a 2.7 liter 6-cylinder engine. The S model tested here has a larger displacement engine at 3.4 liters. This results in more power with the 2013 Boxster S making 315 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. f torque. This may not sound like much but the Boxster S is a very light weight car at just under 3000 lbs.
