hate when people bash these kind of games. these games are made for the fans like every oher sports games. i HATE football. i just don’t see the point in it, but i don’t go around IGN or CGR bashing them.

4 tracks, 3 different cars that drive the same, 2 modes of play (practice and various different races), the AI generally sticks to its programmed lines around the tracks, no multiplayer, there is body damage that you can repair in pit stops

the oval tracks actually look pretty good in this game. especially when approaching a banked turn, the effect is pretty spot on for the time

damn right. I’m pretty good at nascar games, but you have to understand nascar or the computer will kick your ass and when my friends come over who haven’t played a single nascar game they drive like thier drunk and while they finish 19th ( quite obviuosly EA sports ) … I’m way ahead and I win the race.
The controls aren’t bad you just suck at driving games.

It’s interesting that this is labeled as a “review”, yet, the guy spends all the video talking about his feelings towards NASCAR-based videogames, instead of giving information on the game being “reviewed”. How many tracks exist? Can you pick from different cars? If so, do they feel different? How many modes of play? How does the AI behave? Is there multiplayer? Is there tyre or body damage or do you just lose speed if you hit something?

I really think this game would’ve had a better shot of being a decent racer on the SNES. This was just too much for the old hardware.

I agree , sometimes I get really get mad at my friends because they make fun of my shirt and that was the day I just got back from the bristol race in 2012. I was wearing a Kasey Kahne shirt.I watch every NASCAR race Cup, Nationwide and Camping World .NASCAR is a good sport to watch.
