This is the old school Atom, there are much faster ones these days. The V* one has a couple of hundred more horse power and the Australian JayDee version has around 750 horse power (still only 520kg). These new models spank ALL production cars and bikes, and I mean spank.

Mr Clarkson has once again failed to get the point,get the cbr and the atom on a real B road,not a race track like every one else does because thats not the point,And whilst your stuck behind mr and mrs jones discussing which garden centre to go to,i’m off having FUN,that’s the point.

Not as fast as the smallest cc class of sports bike, but the stig (a proven racing driver) lapped the track quicker than ? Riding the bike. It’s fast, very fast, and I love this car. But don’t manipulate a race to say that a bike is slower, it’s pathetic. Why not just be honest, it’s fast in its own right…but so is a (even a 600cc) bike.
If you’re talking of a fair race then it should not be on a track designed purely for 4 wheels! On that basis I could ride a moped through London quiker than any supercar it does’nt mean the bike is faster.
I don’t think I’ll ever have more fun on that than I will on a liter bike.
