  1. Стану на 2108 против этого ведра. Посмотрим кто быстрее со светофора

  2. Since turbochargers run on exhaust gases, The exhaust will be to hot far a turbocharger. When a turbo heats up it will not function. It will burn oil, It will heat up the air which is thinner air and not put enough oxygen. Also you have to rout all pipes to make the turbo work with adequate boost to all cylinders. 4 cylinders cant boost 8 cylinders And having 2 turbos( one for each bank) will make boost but has to many pipes to route and will most likely fail.

  3. Really cool vid. Informative for someone just wanting to understand a little more of how these beasts work.

  4. 3:36 - why the rear wheel isn’t round, how da fuq is that possible??? xDD

  5. The 1600bhp 1.6 litre bmw engine in the 80′s formula 1′s were turbocharged, as were most group C cars. Turbos are nothing to be sniffed at :L

  6. oh yea they have flames coming out from the headers just see them better at night

  7. i don’t think a turbocharger would hold together. and the zoom type headers put down force on the cars helps them stick to the track

  8. Who knew TV like this still existed. I’m surprised this isn’t a pit stop mockumentary reality show.

  9. wait a sec, why go with a supercharger and make a lot of hp-600hp and not go whith a turbocharger??? Irespect that they must have ran a lot of test and ended with some resaults that sho that a supercharger is better, but can anybody out there explain me why???

  10. The feel of top fuelers and funny cars shaking ground and grand stands is amazing! Like Grubnic said, mini-earthquake!

  11. Accelerates faster than any other ground vehicle ?! Apart from a rocket car of course…R.I.P. Sammy Miller….3.583 secs /386.26 mph in July 1984 Santa Pod ,England.

  12. Plumbing primarily is why no turbos, more parts to try and secure if it detonates, etc.

  13. I wonder, why don’t they do turbos with an antilag system as opposed to the supercharger? There would be no parasitic loss, all free energy.

  14. That’s why they started using NOS (nitros oxcide) in some classes as it’s nickname is “Blower in a bottle”. Like Pro Mods.

  15. @MoxieMike66 yea I know.. In Australia we speak Queens English, with the Aussie accent of course ;)

  16. Yeah I didn’t think there’s much of a chance it would actually be practical or someone would have done it I guess. Maybe whatever fits could take some of the load off though if the benefit of that overcame the bit of extra weight…
