Fisker Karma Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle at Discovery Channel

Television interview with Henrik Fisker on the sports high-performance Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid vehicle being developed at Fisker Automotive (www.fiskerautomotive.com). Video shows rare footage of Quantum Technologies’ (www.qtww.com) installations where the Q-drive electric hybrid powertrain is being developed for the Karma. 1. it should have been
Jeremy in charge of the engine and drive-train
James in charge of the chassis
Richard in charge of body work(styling) and interior.

They would have made an electric zonda XD

  2. There’s some discontinuity at 9:15. It goes from empty street with no parked cars to street with parked cars. One if them is a Ferrari 575.

  3. Geoff could have been so much cheaper. I always feel Hammond spent a bit too much on the chassis from the TVR.

  4. It is poop that hangs on the hairs of an animals butt lol. Like the water buffalo, look up a pic of their butts and you’ll see many many examples LOL

  5. You can also achieve some fuel savings thanks to e4wd powertrain hybrid which can be mounted to any 4×4 vehicle

  6. There is a fastidious road test of the Karma Ecochic here:

  7. Run…RUN!
    It’s submerged it’s Gawnna BLOW!
Ask a certain NJ dealer who got his dealership flooded.

  8. I knew there was a little aston martin in there. It always struck me. Now that I know the designer of the DB9 is the same guy its all there, because I compared this car to the DB9 all the time

  9. Guys i hate to ask this but, what song plays from 3:18 to 3:40? It sounds so sick

  10. Always thought this was an Aston Martin when I saw pics of it. I’ve been walking by one everyday at work this week and it’s a beautiful car. Googled it to get more info and in short, seems to be JUST beautiful. But like the Tucker and DeLorean a man can dream.

  11. great car!!

I just saw one at the beach this last sunday, check out my video :)

  12. Calm down buddy. “Better than nothing” isn’t really a ringing endorsement. If you watch the reviews of this car from actual owners that aren’t paid ads like this one, it’s very clear that this car needs a LOT of improvement. It’s a “supercar” that doesn’t even have “sporty car” driving characteristics, weighs more than two average cars, gets pretty bad gas mileage, costs the same as the much better performing, better mpg Tesla Roadster, has fit & finish & interface issues, & it’s cramped.

  13. This car goes way beyond the 50 mile electric range. Fill up the gas and your range is basically unlimited, coast to coast. The technology that went into this car is crazy. Read up on this car, then make knowledgable comments. So many haters…

  14. What they didnt say is that with the 2.0t generator engine, you can drive coast to coast without having to charge. Just keep filling up and you are good. Try that in a Tesla, you wouldnt get very far…

  15. so.. even if we do switch to electric vehicles, there will be higher electricity consumption:
    -burning more oil and coal.

    ._.
it will be as though nothing is different.

  16. I know what you are saying however in comparison to what other ev companies have done with their products listed at the same price it doesn’t appear to be worth the price. The Tesla Model S has speed, performance, and luxury
