I almost agree with you, but they’re all scripted event, they aren’t dyamically generated. In Uncharted 2, you can only follow the only line that producer decided.
An open world game would not have allowed the immersive experience that we see in the game today. I believe that their idea to scrap the open world idea was a really good one! You dont have any feeling in e.g. GTA IV no? Open world games = Trash and have fun, Strict linear games = Immersion and feeling

I’m currently downloading this for PC (it’s on steam if you didn’t know). I’m kindof disappointed that it isn’t an openworld zombie game, but hey ho.
