  1. I just love sprint cars in general. Being from houston, my dad always told stories about watching AJ Foyt run at meyerland speedway.Apparently it was common place for Aj to get out of the car and knock the fuck out of somebody, over on track disputes. In any case, Indy cars and F1 aren’t my thing. I don’t even care for any forms of nascar anymore. Just USAC mostly.

  2. Well, I know Bryan Clauson races on dirt most of the time, obviously, he was in the Indianapolis 500 this year, I have a tremendous amount of respect for him.

  3. those 3 pussies from top gear should get there stinkin pommy ases in one of these….25x sprintcar on a track at the same time speechless

  4. at first i thought that track looked familliar, then it said ventura raceway and i was sure, thats my cities track! i go there all the time and watch the races!

  5. All of us who race any variety of non-wing sprint car on dirt know there is no more beautiful and challenging form of racing. I give Alex credit for putting himself out there to try it, but mostly it saddens me that Indy long ago became so high-tech and totally disconnected from grassroots racing that the incredible skills of racers who drive sprint cars, midgets and dirt champ cars every week are no longer relevant. For us Indy is a thing lost, no longer the pinnacle of US open wheel racing.

  6. a race car with a wing (see my avitar)is like the A-Ticket at disiney land,,mash da gas n hold on

  7. I actually dont know about Sprints much here because not much Sprint Car racing where i from. There is IRA i believe but that aways away.

  8. actually where im from, the guys who wanna race late models start in pure stocks(4 or 6 cylinder’s from like 1989 or older, and the people who want to race sprints, use to start in dwarfs but now 600 racing within the last year has started a new series called legend modifieds

  9. 2:02, not sprint cars. Those are ISMA super modifieds. Much different.

  10. This video is an awesome idea. It’s slightly upsetting how poorly informed they are. All of the sprintcar footage being winged pavement stuff, when pavement sprintcar racing makes up about 5% of the sprintcar racing world, which is made up of dirt with wings and nonwings alike. And let’s explain how there are 410′s with 950+ hp. Again, great video, just make sure to do the proper research. Alex seems to have been a great candidate for this though. Very humble about his experience.

  11. some of them are good no doubt…..but some of them are just money….i have seen some of them show up at dirt tracks and get their asses handed to them….

  12. Well yes and no. Even with there rich daddies they still the best. I dont really care for nascar because of how boring it gets. It almost as boring as F1

  13. note the ISMA super mods at 2:01 .These 468ci methanol drinking fire breathing road rockets are the fastest open wheeled cars in racing.Making much more than 650 hp. with their moving wing are racings best kept secret.

  14. How americans do it. Dirt Track style. Start with a 4 banger and if you lucky you end in a Late-model or Sprint car. The few and greatest get to Nascar…

  15. the 410 motors are way more powerful and theres more 410s out there than 360s like the one in the video. ive seen some go 950hp. most are 850-900

  16. this is why they say some of the best drivers in the world started on dirt. its in my opinion the most exiting i just wish we could watch it on tv every weekend like nascar on a major network

  17. Im pretty sure the run about 750 horse and have a typical pwr wgt ratio of 0.625 So Go drive one then come talk to me cause it isn’t easy taming all those horses.
