Mazda went through so many prototypes until they got it just perfect, but it was too late Group C was no more and the rotary abolished in Le Mans, however people still remember the rotary engine, it leaves a lasting impression, the sound, the feel, the power and the unique qualitys of the engine mean it will never be forgotten.
