How the fuck do you explain trying to raise money for a lepper by accumulating 10 thousand bucks worth of tickets? Thats like saying i’m going to shoot up the park where the kids skip school at so they can stay in school.

Look at the numbers: this event has been held every year since 2004, and to my knowledge there has been only one incident that involved civilians in 8 years, and no one was injured in that crash. If you consider an average of 50 participants a year driving about 2500 miles per rally, that’s about 1.6 million combined miles with one incident.
Or how about someone with both hands on the wheel driving the speed limit instead of either of your scenarios? I mean just cause worse exists, doesnt mean it justifies the “almost as bad”. I love these cars as much as anyone but that doesnt justify risking innocent lives. Your statement makes zero sense.

To anyone who complains about these guys speeding on highways: I’ll take a Ferrari driver with two hands on the wheel flying by me at 100 mph over a teenage girl with one hand on the wheel and the other typing a text message driving beside me at 70 mph any day.
