It didn’t seem to bother me. The better the prep work, the better the paint will look. The orange peel isn’t that bad, didn’t ever bother me.

Use 800-1000 grit wet after a month of allowing it to fully cure. Then go back over and step it to 1200 then 1500 then 2000. Use a high speed buffer and a good polish to make it shine.

What is orange peel? I’m New to this
I used ur method an it worked out great but there is some orange peel. So what grit of sandpaper do i use to get rid of it and what tiype of buffer?
Paint came out looking great! It did have a little orange peal, but the better the prep work, the better the paint will look. It doesn’t chip off or come off easily. But if it does, fixing nicks and scratches is easy. The paint can be fixed quickly.

Don’t need to primer. As long as the paint surface is sanded and smooth it’ll roll on easily and last for years. This truck still has this paint on it from about 3 years ago. Still looks good. Check out my 1 minute video in the video responses in the comments in this video : D

You’ll want to sand the paint surface with some 400 grit sandpaper and an electric sander. It’s much faster with the sander. Check out my quick 1 minute video on how to do this type of paint job in the video responses below. : D
