Shows the difference between an Art and Design. Most people will say ”Wow look how kool that looks, I’m gonna hang this up and show it off. Are you mad? How can you rip that up?”
A designer will only be worried about how long he spent on the sketch, in this guys case, prob 10 minutes. No biggy, he’s practiced enough he can draw like that in his sleep.He’s learned not to become attached to his sketches. A client won’t tell him how good his sketch is and either accepts or rejects it.

Wow, you guys are so easily impressed. I know people who can do better than that. Hell, I can do better than that. Probably can’t do that angle without drawing the perspective lines first, but still.
I make car noises when I sketch too haha, I’m 18 years old and I’m really getting interested in this field.
both depends on the designer and the company some stay for 6 months and move on, others are freelancers so they only take a job and leave, yet others stay for 20+ years. the amount they make varies just as much depending on how long they work and their success (eg head/chief designers will obviously earn more)
they are pretty expensive to be honest, you’d be better off buying a wacom and rendering digital (what most designers do nowadays anyway) if u lack the money otherwise you can find them anywhere online like amazon

Nothing god given about it. Sketch 5000 cars and anyone would get pretty good at it. Design schools can always teach you how to draw, they just can’t teach you how to think. Hard work and dedication (like any other profession) will give you the skills to put your idea on paper and make it look easy.

When you get that good it becomes like taking a shit or eating a sandwich. It’s casual and nothing special. He could probably do another drawing better than that one in half the time.
