  1. If you want to be a good saleeman I believe that you’ll have to learn how to deal with rejection, and never give up at all! I’m a car salesman, and I’ve became relentless! Now for two months in a row I’ve sold the most cars! In my area! I read and learn how to be the best and one piece of reading I would recommend to all my fellow sales people is “How to overcome fear, and start living fearless” get it from Amazon cause it will equip you with the tools and mentality that you need!

  4. One of the main reasons I hated selling cars was the customers and their bullshit. I’m pretty straightforward, yet these people were trying to bullshit me and I noticed it. It made me angry. The best customers were the ones who just cooperated when I asked simple questions.

    I wish i can say that to 90% of the tire kicking ass holes that walk on the lot.. people hate the fact that were making profit on a car.. like were ripping them off!! How the fuck are we supposed to maintain our buisiness and feed the employees if we dont make money.. I hate people who just want to test drive cars with no intention of buying.. i hate people who lie and tell me they saw a car with less miles for cheaper. i hate all you ass holes!!

  18. Cool video, but if the car doesn’t have a Hyundai or Mitsubishi logo on the grill and touchscreen display it isn’t going in my driveway. Cars back then were certainly built heavier, but they were so dangerous compared to a modern automobile. Our cars even call bluelink automatically if an airbag deploys so personnel may be dispatched; how times have changed!

  20. In “those days” Chrysler cars were better; I would have bought a Plymouth over a Ford or Chevy any day unless I wanted the power of a cheap V8, then I would have gotten a Ford but in every other way a Plymouth was still a better car.

    Today, some sort of initial contact via email or social media would be needed to find out what kind of car the prospect is interested in – no point showing up in a strippo Impala when someone wants a Sonic with every option…

  24. It’s sad to see what has happened to the art of selling. My 80-year old neighbor sometimes talks about how it used to be. In his words, “salesmen used to have a smile on their face and spring in their step. They knew how to sell, and they liked their job.” The same goes for Chevrolet. How the mighty have fallen :(

  25. Door to door cold calling for car sales? Wow, that must have taken some fortitude. But here’s his problem, look at the houses, seems that people in that neighborhood would be much more interested in Cadillacs or Buicks.
