1989 Porsche 944 2.7 8v Car review (Full extended review)

THIS CAR IS NOW FOR SALE BY EBAY AUCTION END DATE: Jan 06 2013): cgi.ebay.co.uk This week DreamCarGarage1 go back to a time when big shoulders pads were in, mobile phones were the size of bricks and not all Porsches looked like 911′s. But can a Porsche from the 80′s really be worth buying or will it just be a load of rusty junk? Stay tuned as David takes a mint Porsche 944 for a ride across a beautiful slice of Shropshire countryside. Enjoy!

  1. Go to info and itll tell u the songs. The car I think is a mustang from the 70s I think :p

  2. They should consider themselves so lucky, i would do nearly anything to have a life like that with my best friends :(

  3. Do anyone know the name of the song that is used 2 minutes in the movie? :)

  4. Good choice mate xD
There are still some people who like to take care of old cars. You not only gave us a tour around but also helped us to buy one in the future. Hope your having fun driving this beauty!

  5. Tbh i inherited an ’89 ’44 Turbo a few years ago, well, basically the road version from the ’44 Turbo Cup Series from the late 80′s – early 90′s. Which were 250bhp from the factory. Honestly, these models have genuine Super Car performance the way they pull & considering there age also. And found during research, statistically this model was marginally quicker than an ’11 Turbo of the same era when Porsche tested them side by side. Brilliant review mate, captured perfectly. :)

  6. Fantastic job sir!
I would shake your hand for that review. I really felt like I got to know the car.

  7. Fantastic review. I own 81′ 924 with 944 S2 body kit (also red) :) The only thing i can say, these are amazing cars!

  8. Take it from me, the 944 is well worth it. I bought my 944 Turbo about a year and a half ago and what an amazing car it is. I use it as my daily driver and it hasnt broken down on me to this day. Starts at the turn of the key and purrs like a kitten. And, if you should need parts for it there parts for it both new and used on the internet. If you should have any questions feel free to ask. Its just an amazing car all around.

  9. Very nice review, I’m thinking of buying one myself.. To be honest whit you I doubted it at first, you know it is a 20 year old sportscar god knows who’ve driven it. But I’m convinced now, I’ll start looking around right away!! Ps I can recommend to review a Volvo 480, a legit icon as well. ( I’ve one)
