Having safely completed over 200000 miles of computer-led driving, we wanted to share one of our favorite moments. I agree with someone else id like to be able to drive every once in a while too. But maybe there will be certain conditions. Like u can only go manual is the traffic density is below a certain point and your driving record has to be extremely good. Otherwise ur car wont let u drive.

I am just worried about the prices, i think i read somewhere that a car with all the gadgets would be 150k+ because just the radar or whatever is 70k, is it because it’s still not mass produced and it will be cheaper when it is or it will remain like that for a few years. I am afraid we have this in 2017 but only by 2025 or more it’s really affordable for the common folk.
Right now this is probably a philanthropic venture for Google. Giving blind people the ability and freedom to go places and do things not possible before. Projects like this are what separate Google from the rest of the crowd, instead of squeezing profits at the expense others, they find ways to help society progress. If all companies were like this, the world would be a better a place.

I like the idea, but I think it should be optional and not the only way to drive in the future. I’d like to be able to control my car when I want to. I can imagine having an “auto-pilot” button to press in case I get tired of I want to enjoy the scenery.

Well if by subscriptions by default you mean without the recommended videos then you go to my subscriptions and then you can choose if you want to see all the activities or only the uploaded videos. I personally think that it’s not really a bad idea to have recommended videos based on what did we watch, I often watch some in fact. And then I guess that everything change just like Facebook.. but we all then get used to it so you’ll sure get used to it and who knows maybe you’ll like it one day
Ok, maybe i took it a little too far with the caps lock key. but, what i meant by no comments pages or show all comments button is that there used to be numbered comment pages(NOT ANYMORE, NOW JUST A SHOW MORE BUTTON) and there used to be a show all comments button which let you see a ton if not ALL the comments on a video(THEY GOT RID OF THAT, IT’S STILL POSSIBLE BUT YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY TYPE “ALL_COMMENTS” IN THE URL BAR).
Oh and how can you see your subscriptions by default?
