  1. Price wise, the infiniti g37 should be in this group. That car is certainly competitive with the 328i.

  3. Get rid of the Volvo and put the Cadillac ATS. but, it was pretty close between the BMW and the audi, everybody else were just present.

  4. nobody buys these petrol versions in the UK the diesels make much more sense. In the specification box could you tell us more than just price? how about the bhp, torque etc

  7. These are all excellent cars and it is about the client’s preferences. The automotive manufacturers are entailed to compete and gain enormous market share.

  8. I floored a A4 2.0T up a hill with 3 people in the car it felt like a dog. No midrange power.

  9. 4 cylinder turbo is a good thing, clearly you never drove one but are bad mouthing it. What don’t you like? The extra power, better fuel economy, better balance? Tell me again how refined the straight six is! It must be nice being stuck in the 90′s. Why am I wasting my time on internet trolls ….

  10. Too many cars in this test. Apples and oranges. Should have kept it German only. And the kissing up to the manufacturers gets irritating. They make BMW’s reversion from six to four cylinders sound like good news. Go by the commentary as each German car is driven, and each of the Germans won. Did price play a role in the voting? Evidently not, even though this segment is extremely price sensitive. I’m a long-time C&D reader and I’m disappointed. In a few years the print mags will be gone and it’
