Some things I can agree with… aside from washing in the sunlight. So many people advise against this, but there’s really no harm in it other than getting dried water spots. I wash my car during the day in Florida and hardly ever get water spots and even if I do, they come right off with my damp microfiber drying towel, simple. I only dry my door jambs because they’re never filthy. And pulling the wheels off to clean them is just fine. And rim cleaner or APC is great for nasty wheels…
1) It’s just de-greaser 2) Was under a tree with plenty of shade 3) It was just to get ride of the rusty shit, and easy to do 4) Some people really care about their cars so they get it extra clean 5) Sentence doesn’t make sense 6) Again, shaded area 7) There are many techniques to wax a vehicle, angle or not, there isn’t going to be an harm done to the car.
if you do your own mechanic work on the cars and dont have the fender protectors there is this stuff called bug and tar remover that i got from turtle wax. removes grease without much time or effort and doesnt remove paint its also good for the plastic interior panels that have buildup from anything on your hands
It is ok to use acid based formulas on wheels, chrome and mag wheel cleaners are acidic but all wheel cleaners are alkaline based. The trick is to clean with the acidic cleaner, then hit it with the all wheel cleaner to make the ph level neutral. The acid is safe on chrome but damages the rest of metal components over time so neutralizing it with an alkaline is key to the life of say your rotors.
you can use an all wheel and tire cleaner like Eagle One A2Z on the wheel wells before you wash. I also spray the lower body panels where grime tends to stick with that stuff and it eats it away, then I just wash my car with carwash and its good as new. I have also heard that the old newspaper trick on your glass isn’t as effective anymore, something to do with either the paper they use or the chemicals in the ink dont react the same way as the 70s or 80s, still looks nice though. great video.
First off i would use a pre-wash to loosen the dirt, either snow foam or something stronger like citrus pre-wash. Secondly i wouldnt use any strong acids on wheels, acid free wheel cleaner will do the job and not harm the wheels. DO NOT use a sponge, get something softer like a cotton pile wash pad. Lastly what are you doing turning the machine polisher on its side?? Keep it flat to the paint and it wont ruin your paint.

I would disagree with anyone that says this car is not a great GT. I have had one for a year and use it as a daily driver and love it. Great power, awesome handling and when needed cruises like a smooth old cadillac with a switch of the Manettino
