  1. Lol the guy is clearly wrong anyways. Porsche has the 911 turbo S which can hit 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. Thats .1 second slower than a 2011 Bugatti Sport.

You’re right though, Porsche has many facets in its line up, and it varies with model to model, but if he wants to talk about pure drag race, than Porsche has a car for that, its called the 911 turbo LOL.

  2. Why dont you compare apples to apples then. Again GT2 RS is RWD with traditional manual transmission as oppose to GTR’s AWD, and dual clutch automatic transmission. Makes hell of a difference.

Also your GTR gets dusted by the Porsche 911 turbo S which was made back in 2010, the 911 turbo S can do 0-60 in 2.6 seconds LC off and high 10′s @ the quarter.

  3. Lol we’re talking about the ring times, you know the track time that the automotive world usually looks to.

Hell, the new Corvette beats both the GT2 RS and GTR around the laguna seca.

  4. Lol, watch more best motoring and you will see race where GT2 gets beaten by GTR

  5. main problem is weight for the Z33 RS…thats why Amuse created the superleggera

  6. i love nissan with all my heart but i would not take the Z over the GT3, BUT i would take the GTR over any Porsche :)

  7. Drag strip? – LOl Porsche doesn’t build cars for drag strips, or single laps around the Ring -it builds them for races.

And if you look at the 24 hours Nurburgring the wonderful GTR finished 30th – Porsche had multiple top 10 placements of the GT3.

The GTR doesn’t even compete in Lemans 24 hours.

  8. We’re talking about two completely different price ranges. Not really a fair contest.

  9. They should make the next generation of the Z mid engine, or have a front engine version and a mid engine version of the same car and same engine.

  10. Everyone loves saving money. Find out how you can join the many of knowledgeable purchasers whove already changed insurance coverage companies and are now preserving MAJOR BUCKS! This free of cost internet site should teach you just how…

  11. Realy nerdy comment but I Love the way the narrator says (who clearly has no idea) “Even with its bigger engine, it has not gained any weight over the standard model” Thats because there is more room inside the engine for fuel and air, thats how engines work… its not physicaly bigger dumbass, piston is probably smaller along with shorter stroke conrods bosh there is more engine… so less material (metal) so surely the car would weigh fractionally less, because of the engine that is hahhaha

  12. Classes no one cares about? While it’s true you see racing Porsches’ in random classes, a lot of the major classes they have winnings in like the GT2 class in ALMS, LM2 class (which are prototypes), and winning overall in the 24 hours of Nurburgring. I highly doubt no one cares about these classes as they are the most exciting to watch.

  13. Stop trying to be a smartass and twisting my words. The 1911/Strat/LP are all outdated and so is the 911. The “millions of victories” are in classes no one cares about and where no factory (works teams with real design control) is dumping their money into. If you are happy with beating up on garbage like M3′s and Vipers with customer cars there is really nothing I am going to argue with you about. have fun with your strat while you’re at it. No point in telling you you’re missing out.

  14. Pretty sure the millions of victories by 911s in the GT class vindicate the layout. Pretty sure the fact that the car with a “weakness” is still the benchmark for pretty much everything. Clearly the rear engine is a weakness…. Also there is no real fault with the 1911 design either, unless you are some sort of safety nazi. The Les Paul was never my thing, I was always more of a strat guy. Still nice guitars.

  15. A F1 car has its engine between the axles. The engine in a 911 is behind. If you are into guitars or guns a lot of it is the same. Legacy designs sometimes endure despite not being optimal because people develop a fondness for them. A rear engine 911 is not unlike a 1911 handgun or a Les Paul guitar, designs all well left behind but still well received. You can engineer around the weakness and still produce something that is quality and performs well, but that is not a vindication of the layout

  16. When you say the same performance between 380 and GT3, make sure you looked at lap time and top speed on long straight.

  17. btw I drive a gt3 and vette… a evolution can fuck me up every day…. … … . . . . in the right conditions

  18. Scion’s are rebadged Toyota’s from japan. The car was a result of subaru having part owner ship, which is why the engine is from subaru.

  19. Yota owns Scion, America is the only place where it’s sold as a Scion I believe. Everywhere else in the world it’s sold as a GT-86 Yota. The engine is a Subaru boxer with Yota direct injection

  20. It’s marketed as the GT-86 in the UK. In the US it’s the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ (there are some differences between the models, but they’re all essentially the same car in most ways)

  21. I got to test drive one, and it’s… Brilliant. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s worth far more than its MSRP. Don’t think twice! And don’t forget that it’s a Toyota… It’ll last a long time!

  22. Can you comment on a comparison between the scion and focus St because I liked both your reviews!

  23. Im already going to purchase one lol. I loved it as soon as i set my eyes on it

  24. So you mean to tell us that out of all of what you’ve just seen, you’d have to say you don’t like a car’s key? You, sir, are redundant. GTFO.

  25. I’d love a spyder version with a bigger engine (flat 6 from the boxster S would kickass) arround $32k!

  26. honestly… if you hosted american top gear, id watch it.
PS: current hosts make me want to sterilize american ‘gearheads’

  27. I meant sun roof, my phone auto corrected it to run cause I accidentally hit the e instead of the s.

  28. The sound youre talking about is actually coming from the fuel pump. They have a service addressing it which states, “some vehicles may exhibit a high pitch chirp or squeak noise from the high pressure fuel pump assembly when the engine is fully warmed up and idling.” The issue apparently affects any FR-S with a VIN# ending in 09026 or lower. Newer vehicles are not affected. So it looks like they have the situation under control.

  29. Would that oversteer be a problem for normal every everyday drivers? Could that result in more spin outs and accidents?

  30. Before you buy this thing. There is already problems with it. Google “Scion FRS engine sound”. Not worth the money to invest.
