  1. i hate that saab got bought by a chinese company planning to make them electric! why, oh, why…

  2. I’m going to miss you, Saab. My goal in life is to own one your vehicles. I’m pushing my parents to buy a used 2011 9-5, 9-4x or a 2008 Saab 9-3. I love your vehicles and I wish you guys stuck around a tad longer.

  4. Absolutely right! It should not be compared with 9-7 and 9-2. Saab has done a lot of the development of this car. Too bad it only produced 457 units.

  5. Thanks for your answer. Damn, only 457…I hope a few of them finds it’s way to Sweden.

  6. The reason you haven’t seen a Saab 9-4x on the road is that only 457 examples were built before Saab discontinued all new vehicle production in 2011. It is likely that many of these vehicles remain unsold on dealer lots in the US and Europe as many Saab dealers are having difficulty offloading these cars because of the marques pending bankruptcy and the uncertainty of the status of their factory warranties.

  7. I must say I am not a very big fan of SUV/crossover-cars and second I am a Volvoman. But I would much rather have one of these then both XC60 and XC90. I never thought it was possible to make an SUV look typical ”saabish” but they have done a great job here! Was this model ever put to production? I have never seen one on the roads! :(

  8. The spirit of independence. I’ve been driving this car for two months now. It’s my fourth Saab and it’s a dream. Hope they make it!

  9. This is a nice vehicle but like all Saabs it’s WAAAAY over priced! No way this vehicle should be priced any higher than the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited which is loaded as far as options and lists for $38,000. The 9-4X should be listing at the same price $38,000 and should sell for an average of $35,000. Saab needs to stop trying to compete with Audi and BMW. This is why Saab is barely breathing!

  10. i daily drive a saab 900s 1992. i en0jy it. the exhaust fell off it today. but really its a good little car

  11. Cars like the Niva were made for a market that other vehicles no longer met the needs of. There are places in Russia where once you have bought a car, returning to a dealer or mechanic for repairs would be far too difficult, or even dangerous in certain seasons. Hence the Niva was designed with repair in mind. It would be unrealistic to expect cars to operate in harsh conditions like those of Siberia without needing repairs. For some people DIY is their only option

  12. I LOVE SAAB IT IS AN AMAZING CAR I THINK THEY SAAB SOULD GET BACK WHICH IT IS SLOWLY BUT PPL NEED TO SEE ( IN CANADA) THAT YOUR LITTLE NORTH AMERICAN CARS ARE NEVER GOING TO BE AS AWESOME AS THAT RIGHT THERE

  13. I love this Saab, the design is just… It’s one of the god damn few cars I’ve fallen in love with. :) The front is perfect. (Not many cars have a cool front, my opinion tho.) And the rest of it is beautiful too.
