Classic Drive in ads from the early 50,s and 60,s..take a trip into nostalgia
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube’s largest collection of automotive variety! In today’s video, I bring you all quite the unique treat out of the “you don’t see that every day” category, a quite unique, custom 1933 ford Victoria Street Rod, otherwise known as the vickie! Warmed over ford 302 V8 putting out around 425 hp, custom built and fabricated suspension with all the classic proportions and and modern performance. The essence of the American hot rod culture! During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st …

With the right lens covering the throw from the projection booth to the screen isn’t a problem. The cost of digital equipment is the obstacle that many drive-ins are having a hard time over coming.
employees seemed so cheerful back then
Geeez…I think you might be right! o.o
Google 16mm drive-in films…you’ll be glad you did!

Oh definitely! We were put into our pajamas before leaving the house, and Mom and Dad fixed up the back of the station wagon with blankets and pillows.
we used to wear our pajamas when we went with our parents to the drive in, because we would fall asleep in the car and our parents would have to carry us to bed when we got home.
We still have Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben.
I was wondering about that.
it was ham, not ground beef, those are called pulled pork sandwiches now.
Why were all of the fathers in 50s ads 40 to 50 years older than the kids?
Back when smoking wasnt bad for you and people were honest

Drive-ins were slowly making a comeback until the digital revolution. Hollywood will no longer make film prints after 2013 and digital projectors can’t fill that big a screen from that diatance. R.I.P. drive-ins!

Yeah, there is a reason. It is easyer to make a “suicide” by jumping out of the car if the doors are opening like this, because the wind does let you open the door (even “helps” yout to do that), because normally opening doors are hard to open because of the wind. That’s the reason. You may have recognised that the new Opel Meriva has suicide doors, but it automatically closes them after reaching 15 KM/H, and you can’t open it until the car stops.
1973 Ford Vicky
looks like it’s got a bad exhaust hanger.

Can anyone tell me .. why the doors are called Suicide doors ? is there any particular reason or is it just their setup in general ?
