If your exhaust diameter is too large, you WILL encounter Turbo Lag, as there is a reduction of pressure in the exhaust, which causes turbulence & slows down exhaust gases over the length of the exhaust = less performance & Turbo Spool..

As i’ve TOLD YOU. If You had a 3″ Bellmouth on a 3″ Exhaust, it will just be a 3″ Exhaust, Moron.. The Bellmouth, would need to be larger than the exhaust it’s flowing into & the reason why I said you WILL gain more performance, if you used “a 3″ BELLMOUTH to a 2.5″ DOWNPIPE to a CAT-BACK 3″ Exhaust” as it creates a “VENTURI EFFECT” in the exhaust & it will flow faster..
