  1. u should listen to more of his music, listen to man in the station. i didnt used to get his voice, but once u accustom yourself to it, everything else sounds plain by comparison

  2. Actually, I never would have believed I could say this about ANYTHING, but I think it’s actually WORSE than “first”.

  3. …and maybe your type of comment could be the new “SECOND!” …..and even mine the THIRD….things could get outta hand

  4. Saw him in Amsterdam in 1980 at Paradiso – fell in love then and there! What a wonderful nuanced artist.

  5. True, but still a bit disturbing that there are 6 dislikes right now – One of John’s greatest performances!

  7. Search ”DAN ARBORISE FEET IN THE SEA HEAD IN THE STARS” Check out this man Dan Arborise, he supported john a few years before he passed, haunting similarities between these beautiful musicians, yet dan has his own sweeping feel, well worth the click :) has a feel of small hours. miss ya Johny boy!

  8. It is worth looking up the “Trans-Atlantic Sessions” version of this. He really went deep with this tune and the variety of performances of this song reflects that ability and effort.

  9. lady gaga was relevant because she was illuminus… however, all this talk of prittle prattle and stories has made me want kids…

  10. Haha–sorry, I guess cuz it was a European reviewer, I (badly) assumed you were from the UK. That IS a trip! Thanks for letting me know the passenger types involved–I have a lot more respect for my 5 after having heard your story.

  11. My boyfriend and my friend who was with me’s boyfriend. They are both a little over 6ft. They didn’t seem to have any problems with sitting there. And I’m a “yank” too. Lol. So I’ve got the same 5. The trip was from Indianapolis to Nashville. Haha. Anyway, it was a fine drive. We took the same trip a couple of years ago in a Honda Odyssey. Of course, it wasn’t as crowded, but I actually thought that the 5 was more comfortable.

  12. REALLY!??!! Who was in the second row? Adults of similar size? This is interesting to know, since I have a 5, and often wonder how people of different dimensions would fare in that back seat, given the opportunity. BTW, we Yanks get the 5 with a 2.5 liter gas version only. 157hp/165 ft/lb. of torque.

  13. Actually, the back seats are more comfortable for adults than you’d think. I’m 23, 5’6 120 pounds, and I sat in the very back seats on an 8 hour trip, next to someone around the same size as me. It wasn’t a bad experience.

  14. Don’t remember the songs name but it’s from Linkin Park’s album Hybrid Theory.
