Replacing a Serpentine Belt – EricTheCarGuy

Replacing a Serpentine Belt – EricTheCarGuy I’ve had more than one request for this, the other day I had one come in and was happy to make the video for it. This is a fairly easy one compared to some that I have had to deal with, just work smart and have the right tools and you will be fine. Remember the longer the tool the better the leverage and that you should check to make sure you have the correct belt before you try and install it. – Click below and Stay Dirty Visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com ericthecarguy.com Visit EricTheCarGuy Forum www.ericthecarguy.com Visit my Facebook Page: www.facebook.com – Stay dirtyDue to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information. 5. Hell noooo!!!! you shouldn’t hear any squeeling or smell any kind of smoke!!!!!! Your Mechanic is an IDIOT!!!!!

  6. Hey ERIC!!! is it normal for the belt to be smoking and a burning rubber smell when it operates? after you install a new belt. my mechanic says it does that at first. im skeptical and if my car fucks up im sueing his ass

  7. Is there a chance you could demonstrate this in a van (1992 chevy g20 to be specific) but any van would do. I am guessing you have to do it from underneath. I can’t seem to get to what I need to get to without removing a bunch of stuff. But, thank you, this has been a great help in understanding the process. I see a lot of videos on auto repair, but it is very hard to find videos dealing with vans. Thanks. =)
