  1. 2012 Audi A6 , No power tilt steering wheel, no sunshades ugly gear shift(compare e350, 5 series). consumer reports is providing false information (see 1:44) suspension setting can be changed it’s not actually (audi drive select can only change steering engine and transmission).

    Did he mentioned reliability ?
Did he mentioned about gov 5 star crash ratings ?

see page 18 from audi a6 2012 brochure

  2. I noticed at the end of the video that the spot where fog lamps are normally placed is just blank. Is this just because of Audi’s LED headlights?

  3. seriously the a7 is exactly like the a6 just the body is slightly more uglier, reason being its trying to look like a coupe. and its not worth the 15 g upgrade.

  4. “THE A6 DRIVES A LOT MORE LIKE A BMW THAT MOST MODERN BMW’S DO” ?? AND HOW DO THOSE MODERN BMW’S DRIVE LIKE ?? A LOT MORE LIKE AN A6 ?? :) :) IF I BOUGHT A BMW I SURE WOULD OF LIKED IT VERY MUCH IF IT DROVE LIKE A BMW AND NOT MAZDA , TOYOTA OR EVEN WORSE : A CHEVROLET , DODGE OR BUICK :) :) SORRY IF IT WAS JUST ME WHO DIDN’T UNDERSTAND . I LOVED THOUGH HOW RELAXED AND COMFORTABLE BEHIND THE WHEEL HE WAS . JUST BY THAT YOU COULD REALIZE THAT IT’S A GREAT CAR . NO DISRESPECT TO THE REVIEWER .

  5. Its common for reviewers to gripe about too many buttons and the learning curve on using the cars info-tainment systems. Thats because reviewers pick up a new car every week or so and dont get to really learn the car via muscle memory nor care to learn certain shortcuts. Someone owning this car for several years will find the system second nature – it wont happen in a day/week. Whenever I hear reviewers complain about learning how to use a car it’s like hearing them complain about their job.

  6. all these videos where americans complain about german cars being too complicated just prove how lazy they really are…

  7. there are fog lights. its below the daytime running lights if you get the LED headlights

  8. Wow – very happy i chose the A7 over the A6 especially after this review – While the A6 is a very good looking car, doesnt come close to the A7 in styling

  9. I don’t care if all this tech is distracting – it’s the future, and there is no denying that. And a touchscreen would make it even more distracting, Mr. Car Reviewer. Audi’s current system is genius, and works like a charm. It might take some getting used to, but it’s really lovely from from there out.

  10. Seriously- do people need more distractions? Such as an overdone center console? No. I predict there will be plenty more accidents due to soccer moms paying more attention to the screen than to the road. Sorry, but that’s the horrible truth.

  11. Sorry guys but truth is BMW is downgrading while Audi is just getting better and better.

  12. WOW. so dissapointed. looks like my 2007 a6. wats up with the pop up nav screen. guessi gotta schedule an appointment at the bmw dealer tomorrow now aha

  13. It’s one of those dream machines. I’d rather have this A6 over the current BMW 5-series; well, it’s still a great car. I’d like this A6 with the Quattro, but it’s around the mid $50K fully loaded.

  14. Nice, beautiful, fun to dive car for sure. But the review is just regurgitated news release stuff.

  15. Chrysler, Ford and GM (Government Motors) all 3 are pretty much American in NAME ONLY. Sure the money from their sales goes to thier corporate boys in Detroit but the BIGGEST majority of thier labor and parts are supplied by by MEXICO, CHINA and INDONESIA. These have always been countires more closely associated with cheap labor, child labor, worker abuse and recalls than high standards and high quality. The big 3 suck because of this.Honda uses Jap and American labor and parts Hence high quality

  16. Too bad they didn’t release earth dreams engines into the new Civics, which have regular OTTO cycle valve behavior when you want power and Atkinson valve behavior when you want hybrid like MPG in a non hybrid car. Guess we might see that in a few years.. You could see the EPA HWY MPG go up past 43 but that’s just my opinion

  17. I would call you a typical ignorant individual who has nothing educated to say and show since his response towards an argument is very weak. Facts are facts. Know your cars and the auto industry and then maybe you can enlighten me.

  18. You are beyond an idiot. Actually I take that back because calling you an Idiot would be offensive to all the other idiots out there. So until I can find a better word that suits your lack of knowledge I will just call you a typical redneck.

  19. I hope you’re kidding. A car is FAR different than a lawnmower, ATV,generator, and etc. If their influence of ATVS would carry over into their car industry then wouldn’t they have an off roading vehicle??.There is one thing that Honda may have used from their lawn mowers on their cars and that is , it’s ground clearance on the Honda Civic. The Civic bites parking blocks and driveway entrances. Worst lower fascia ever!!!!

  20. If you judge honda on everything they make the are the best there motorcycles generators atvs and lawn mowers are by far the toughest wouldn’t that translate into there cars as well

  21. What is your point?? Chrysler is still American. Volkswagen/BMW own Bentley and Rolls Royce but they’re still British companies. Volkswagen/BMW own Bugatti but it’s still a French company. Just because Bugatti, Bentley, and Rolls Royce are owned by a different company doesn’t make them German. They are still their original roots and they still represent their true native country. Also Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, Volvo use to be owned by Ford. But that DOESN”T MAKE THEM AMERICAN!!

  22. Sales numbers does not represent a good car. If that was the case then Audi would be the top seller. People buy Honda and Toyotas cuz they’re uneducated and the most homework they do on buying a car is watching TV ads. Honda and Toyota has terrible quality: plastic interiors, ugly styling, loud cabins, CONSTANT RECALLS, and Toyota has some of the unsafest cars (look at IIHS small overlap test results). In a matter of weeks Honda and Toyota will have a major recall just watch.

  23. Totally false. I just hate Honda and Toyota. I have nothing against Mazda, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc. Just shitty cars that are overrated by the dumb American Public. Keep driving your bland styled, cheap plastic interior, recall maker, and cabin filled road noise vehicle. Why doesn’t Toyota and Honda ever talk about craftsmanship, road handling, or interior quality in their commercials?Cuz their cars sucks. Open you eyes and realize the industry recall leader and poor safety ratings.Nice quality

  24. Typical proud-to-be-American and proud-to-drive-my-shitty-American-muscle-car idiot. Keep doing it, you’re just making your country look bad.

  25. I rented a 2012 Civic and also a 2012 Elantra. I got six more mpg on the same trip with the Hyundai. However, the Civic had no issues, the Hyundai did….so it appears those who bought the Civic were justified. I do not know if the changes will take it from not recommended to class leader in test reports. I have not driven the 2013 Civic yet…but the 2012 was not a bad drive as CR said. I actually liked it better than the Hyundai.

  26. Jap cars are good which is why they top sales idiot.

People buy Hondas and Toyotas because they are cheap, economical to run and maintain, just practical in size and looks good (subjective). They are also good quality cars which hardly break down. Yes they are the occasional defect recalls.

If American car makers cant compete with the Japs and they need an idiot like you to talk crap on their behalf, then they deserve to go bust.

  27. Politics aside, this car is REALLY SEXY. Makes anybody look good. Have a great 2013 folks.

  28. I see too many comments about the form but not the content. Stylish is subjective. Also I don´t understand all the Hondahaters. If you don´t like the car then why you are looking this video.

  29. That shows how many sheep buy Hondas and Toyotas, hell even Apple products. The new Hondas are great, but Toyota is still number 1 and they are worst in class, same with Apple products with the exception of the MacBooks…

  30. I don’t care if people buy foreign cars. But I do care when idiot Honda and Toyota fans think their cars are American just because they’re built in America. If they knew anything about the Auto Industry they would know that isn’t how it works anymore. Also I hate when stupid Honda and Toyota fans think a car is good based on its sale numbers. Do some research Honda and Toyota fans and learn a thing or two about cars.

  31. Ohh never heard that argument before. At the end of the day Chrysler is still American. All the profits and money they make stays in the U.S. or goes to the U.S.. Chrysler is opening up more factories which will lead to 30+ factories. Chrysler is also upgrading American factories as well as creating more jobs in the U.S. Chrysler also has a vehicle contributing to Motown. Why?? BECAUSE THEY ARE AMERICAN AND ARE THE HEART OF A CITY IN AMERICA. Jeep also donates money to the military of the U.S.
