How To Replace Clutch Hydraulics (Honda Civic) – EricTheCarGuy www.ericthecarguy.com I’m glad to have made this video as it was requested a couple of times. I hope to make a video just on bleeding at some point as that is probably the hardest part of the operation and there are a couple of ways to go about it. For now enjoy this one. 1. hey EricTheCarGuy just a quick question, my car has a bit too much oil in it, you can see this in on the dip stick about half and inch or less to much, should i drain it? what could too much oil do wrong.

  2. Well your right. I drive Manual and automatic transmission cars. Both from my parents.

  3. well then either buy a honda, or look for someone else who posted videos about your car. wow. wtf is wrong with people? maybe eric should just fly to your house and work on whatever you’re driving… for free, right?

  4. what a dumbass comment. i guess making a broad statement like that would be kind of like me saying that most nederlanders are a bunch of tulip sniffing pussies. but we both know that’s not true either, right?

  5. great video!!! love your shows!!! i have a 2002 celica and aamco replaced my clutch and now i have a soft spongy pedal, that feels like no pedal at all…and the clutch disengages all the way at the end of let off, feeling like the clutch is almost always in gear. ive tried doing this bleed method for 2 hours with no luck!!!! i did adjust the master adjustment and lowered the pedal to lowest setting and now i can at least drive the car…any help!!!!! thanks

  6. Because of this video, I was able to replace my clutch master cylinder in my ’93 Honda Del Sol. All it took was time and patience! Thanks, Eric!

  7. Get a Manual Tranny car then. Seems most of the Americans can’t drive a Manual Tranny car.

  8. nice thanks for sharing your knowledge i dont have a car with a manual transmission but its nice to know this stuff anyways. keep it up :)

  16. Duuude Erick! Thank you so much for your work, and your personality! My 94 Honda Civic Hatchback had this exact problem and this being my first time under the hood, thanx to your videos, I was abel to fix it today! :)

  17. How’s this for a pain in the ass. 1997 Ranger – hydraulic clutch with the slave IN the transmission. I miss the old days when manual meant MANUAL.

  18. I am stuck at the bleeding part i’ve gone through 3 bottles of dot 3 and im tired. am i doing something wrong?

  19. Thank you Eric! My 1999 Honda Accord does not have a 10 mm bolt connecting it to the master. It is a cotter pin that holds the line. Do you have any suggestions on how to line it up and get that pin back in? There is not a lot of room with the strut tower and all… I have been trying for 5 hours and cannot get it back in… Thank you.
