  1. Are you sure he’s an idiot? What he’s saying is correct, partially. The thing is there are two “Le mans” circuits. There are also multiple classes the Corvette has been pretty dominant in the only classes it races in. It actually won the 2012 24 hours of Le Mans. It also tied Ferrari for the 2012 ALMS championship in the GT class. Ferrari in corvette are actually both very competitive in the GT Le mans classes in both circuits.

  2. I agree with you that they make world class engines. But that doesnt mean they are automatically superior in every way to engines outside of Europe like that guy believes. Thats what my point was.

  12. I’m not really a fan of CarandDriver videos, but this was the most informative corporate demo/intro of a car I’ve seen online. A bit cold sometimes, but for engineers and corporate people talking for that long they did a good job.

  13. Yeh funny that. Aston stock fell when Ford owned it due to the cheaper parts like indicator levers that were also in the ford transit van.
    The is also a difference between an umbrella company that buys others to boost its share price, and a company that makes cars as a brand in its self.
    Sometimes the bigger company can bring fresh funds and management that helps the brand perform better commercially

  14. Every new generation, they hype the shit out of the chassis, and it’s always dogshit. It’s always 50% stiffer than the previous, which means it should be 500% stiffer in the last twenty years that they’ve said the same exact thing with each body shape change.
