I think you’ve missed the point of luxury goods. The word “need” doesn’t come into it. Its unique, its beautiful, and some people would pay 4 times that for it, regardless of how much it “needs” to be priced at.
@TheRolo159, why? Unlike most people he can actually afford it (even at full price). He’s making millions a year and if he wanted it badly enough he’d buy it instantly. Simply because he waxes lyrical about it doesn’t mean he should be cut any slack.
Nice car but I’d rather have an Avendador Roadster. Yes the Eagle is handmade but does it really need to be 500k? Spyker sell their cars much cheaper and the fit and finish is magnificent. Alfa 8c, Carrera GT, Mac F1, Aston DBS, Koenigsegg and the new Lamborghini’s are up their in the looks department.
I see alot of beautiful cars from top gear but the eagle speedster just makes my jaw drop

One was a Spitfire (longer, thinner wings), the other was a Hurricane.
If you do, I suggest you don’t park it anywhere public, not that it would be stolen or anything, but rather you’ll find people like me stood around it, eyeing it, fondling it and probably even licking it

I think they got the idea for an American tuning shop. I remembered from the old videos, Keiichi traveled to the USA for a tuning battle. And one of the cars was an AE86 with a S2000 motor.
that makes sense. i was wondering why it looked like the s2000 speedo, but couldn’t figure out why his 86 had one. i just figured it was weird lighting that made the 86 speedo look different. i would’ve kept the 4A
Keiichi’s AE86 has a S2000 engine, hence the Speedometer.
The AE86 came with a digital speedometer in Japan when the cars were first manufactured. If you notice, Keiichi’s speedo is a little different, and you can see his reflection in the camera view of it.
not even 170, stock 4age in a mk1 mr2 had 126 in the euro and jap specs and a meager 112 in the u.s. version

足回りの決まったアミューズS２０００しびれた。雨の中、アクセルを踏み込める仕上がりに完敗ですね。スポーツドライビングの楽しさは1.6〜2000ccくらいが面白いですね。バイクでゆう400ccのような感覚で、クロスミッションでブンブン回す楽しみ。大排気量やターボのように、ビックトルクで下から吹ける、楽しみとは違う味わい。どちらもアリです。
