He’s driving a Toyota Supra in this video. A Scion tC is actually front wheel drive, but they convert it to rear wheel drive. He uses the Scion in the current Formula D season.

Thats a crazy little drift course. i saw Frederick Aasbo on Friday and Saturday in Belmar for Round 4. He’s a tall guy. Nice guy too. Met Vaughn Gittin JR., Darren McNamara, Ken Gushi, Michal Essa, Joon Maeng, Matt Powers, Kyle Mohan. Never met any of the drivers before. It was nice. They’re cool. Rys Millen wasn’t there. Guess he was Eliminated in one of the earlier rounds. That seems to happen alot when he drives. It sucks. Something breaks or whatever.

As “MJlive445″ has stated; “if it distorts, you’ve got it too loud”..
But, you also need to run the right amp + wire gauge for your subs..
If you use the wrong wire gauge, your subs will be underpowered from high resistance & it can blow both your Amplifier + Subs, as heat builds up in the wire + amp & it changes the Ohm rating (Resistance) to your Subs Coil/s & adds more electrical load to your amplifier + wire when the sub is active & the sound distorts & lower the amps power efficiency..
when you play your music, if it distorts, you’ve got it too loud.
Quick question, how do you know if you are playing your sub-woofers at a volume that could cause them to blow? I don’t want to blow my new sub so I was just wondering what to listen for in order to determine if its to loud or not.

You can type “Farad Capacitor” in Google Search & find what you need, as it is a “Trade Name”..
As I’ve mentioned.. You only need to know how many Farads & the Discharge Rate, to know what Capacitor Composition you need.. Certain Compositions, hold more Farads, but discharge slowly, where others can discharge at a faster rate etc..
Maybe that’s how you do it over there in Australia as far as trade names, not over here; and if you’re an engineer you should know that if you’re classifying capacitors with a general term and ordering the wrong type can degrade performance, or even damage the other components of the device it’s going into. We aren’t talking trade names here. There are no super capacitors or farad capacitors outside of trade names. That’s not what they actually are. I wouldn’t hire you for a engineering job.

2. There are very few compositions available for Supercapacitors, Moron, and the amount of Farads & the Discharge Rate, determines what Composition is used..
3. The Trade Name is what suppliers work off & if you say; “Farad Capacitor”, they only need to ask “How Many Farads”, and DON’T need to ask what Composition you need, as “2.” states..

APowerCap, BestCap, BoostCap, CAP-XX, DLCAP, EVerCAP, DynaCap, “FARADCAP”, GreenCap, Goldcap, HY-CAP, Kapton capacitor, Super capacitor, SuperCap, PAS Capacitor, PowerStor, PseudoCap, Ultracapacitor.
With every response you just further prove my point. Capacitor “types” use classification by the material used to create them. You’d ask for something like a aluminum electrolytic or a film capacitor if a part supplier were to ask what type. Then the amount of capacitance would be brought into question which is measured in farads. You really need to stop making yourself look more ignorant than you already have.
I find it funny because ive seen 30k-40k watt system only using batteries and good alternators. Caps can be good in some cases, but usualy they suck.
Putting a fuse in series wont prevent the battery from being short circuited. The fuse just prevents damaging any of the devices by opening in an over current state.
Usually caused by a short circuit, but you still have the short circuit.
I know exactly what Capacitance is, Moron & when you tell a parts supplier, that you need a Farad Capacitor, all they need to ask is; “What Size Do You Need?”..
