  1. I wish you guys would, it’d be awesome to see skylon as an independent british program and not some shitty european thing that gets hijacked by France or somebody.

  2. Today, we’re part of the European Space Agency, and we still collaborate with NASA. If our government would stop giving money to super wealthy nations like India, we’d be able to afford our own space program.

  3. It was probably never going to land right anyhow… It was impressive and amazing, but I’ve rarely seen a rocket glider work as intended, especially one that has never been tested (certified TRA level 2 btw)

  4. didn,t we get a working rocket going just so they could cannseled the project

  5. Actually in the 60′s we were part of the space race independently… But we just couldn’t fund it, it’s also said that the smartest people in the apollo missions were British so there’s a bit of light at the end of the tunnel…

  6. actually feeling sad cause this is the closest thing England has ever got to a proper space programme, wish the government would fund the UK Space Agency to do this stuff!

  7. What? No mutiple camera shots of the rocket coming down? Just the one shot? That sucks.

  8. Does anyone actually turn up the quality as soon as they click on a video??

  9. Meanwhile at Top Gear’s office, Jeremy’s playing with the separate spark plugs.

  10. I felt so bad for these guys when it failed to separate. So much time and sleepless nights, as well as being their most impressive project to date. You could tell they were completely crushed when it… well… got crushed. Still, impressive nonetheless, and the SRB separation was definitely the best part and it went perfectly. Not bad for five months.

  11. I don’t think it’s ugly at all, either. It’s adorable! =D I’d have driven it.

  12. hater hate
but on the other hand they have alot of uglier then this from euro n ameri
but they say is so beautiful classy

  13. Funnily enough during the 60′s most Australians would only buy British or American vehicles, anti Japanese sentiment was still running high in the older generation, my mother told me if i brought a Jap car or bike home she would put the axe through it.

  14. Goes a long way to make you happy! Lol! It’s cheap and ugly-has nothing to lose!!

  15. Imagine an expensive and good-looking car with an ugly and cheap looking woman as the brand ambassador.. would that have better impact?

  16. I´m starting to love this little cute….all among v8 polluting monsters…it makes sense.

  18. I own a Subaru and don’t say SU-BAAA-REW. This commercial was like 300 years ago. It’s not pronounced by Americans like this anymore…We know how it’s pronounced Ass jockey.

  19. typical…americans have to take the pronunciation of a word and make it sound retarded. I have heard the Japanese pronounce “Subaru” and they pronounce it “Subaru”, just like it’s fucking spelt. NOT “SU-BAAA-REW” Ass jockeys

  20. This car is on Gran-Turismo 4 along with the Honda 600 Z-Auct and the Dehatshu 950-T

  21. It’s one of the worst advertisement campaigns I’ve ever seen – Why would you advertise something you’d like to sell as “cheap and ugly” ? Isn’t “inexpensive” a better point to start off ?
And did it sell well ?

  22. This is one of the worst car commercials I’ve ever seen. They don’t even try. The openly admit it’s a piece of shit. Cheap and ugly and it will explode on you. My they’ve come a long way.

  23. Hunnay! How I’d kill for a car that get’s 66 miles to the gallon. I don’t even care if it’s a soo-ba-rew.
