@TheYoungTurks As a European I am still shocked about the arguments that are used about the death penalty. Over here there is reasonable agreement that killing a human being is not a good thing to do. Just because killing human beings is not civilised, even if they have committed crime. Because then you do the same as the criminal did. So then you are not more civilised then a killer. If the state murders people then the state is a murderer. It’s that simple.
