come on!! wheres the V8 impala ss i read about in the magazines ?? a 2.4l V4??? what the hell?? the past impala had over 300hp and en excellent transmission!! those consumers have no hearts for good engines. it was simple to handle ad a good performance!
i love the design of the 2013 model, its sick. but please bring my impala coupe V8 with at least over 400hp and a masculin manual transmission! thank you!

Hey thisithis, thanks for your comment. It appears Chevy and GM heard what you (and seemingly many others) have said, because as you see the 2013 is refreshed… but the upcoming 2014 is supposed to be TIGHT! Our GM and Owner went to the latest Chevy conference and said it was like a totally new car, holding some of the older Impala fans love close to the heart. Keep an eye out – we’ll bring a video or pics when we can.

I have a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, and I liked it better then the 2011 and past Impalas. I test drove a 2011 Impala, and hated it. It was like driving a Granny car. I’m just mad that GM didn’t undate this car until now. But, I do like the new Model.

Yes I’ve own my 1996 impala sense 2004 and its been the best car I’ve ever had cause I also have a 2011 camero and its my everday car the impala only comes out on the weekends and the dream cruise .
I’m reading the comments this crapy 2013 model LOL I’m laughing hard if u think this car is better then the 96 if we had a voting machine to vote what year was the best model impala the 1996 we win by a 10 miles…I’m a car guy.

You seem very well informed my friend, and we at Handy Chevrolet are inclined to agree with you. Tho have you heard about the upcoming Chevy SS? This will be a RWD V8 sedan, bringing back the power/rear wheel drive love these folks (below) are craving.
But again, your comment is 100% accurate – people want fuel efficiency, and the government now demands it across the fleet. You can have your V8s, but you need some little 4-cylinders like the new Spark to even out the fleet economy.

no no no my man, the point of the impala ss was always to have a LARGE car with a Large engine with RWD. I really don’t care about engine size V6, V8 whatever, as long as the engine makes around 350 hp to keep up with all of the competition in terms of having large sedans with high output v6 and v8′s. everything chevy makes is made in terms of bang for the buck which is great, but impalas need to be set apart from the rest of the line up b/c it is an iconic cruiser competing against genesis, etc
why are they not putting that car out now id rob banks to go get the money for the car if thats what it had v8 rear wheel drive o yeah and i would like to use a clutch when i shift gearz why do car companies make finding a car like that so hard
What the hell are you people talking about? Chevy isn’t going to make all their cars into v8 powerhouses because a few people think they’re street racers. The vast majority of people wanting to buy sedans like this are looking for gas mileage, safety, and convenience.. not muscle. If you want muscle, stop looking at cars like these and go look for your camaros and vettes.

I have had my 2012 Ford Focus SEL for a little over a year now and put on 23,000 miles with no problems to report.
I bought a year old 2002 Focus back in 2003, and nearly 10 years later it still runs very well, and the only issue it has had was a faulty “check engine” indicator. My dad, sister and brother have also bought a Focus and haven’t had any issues with them.
can someone please tell me why american specification vehicles have the orange indicators on the headlights? only american cars have these while international market vehicles don’t. you can still have clear white headlights that still illuminate orange when indicating without having the permant orange lights.
Well, I got the call today about my 2012 Ford Focus that stutters down the road because of the transmission and rolls back and the a/c doesn’t work. Ford says that this is the way that car is made and that is what it does and basically I am sorry for your luck that you traded in a really, really nice Chevy for it, but we are going to do nothing. So there you have it……that is Ford’s customer service and shows just how much they care. On to my next step.

I have several family members who bought brand new ford focus cars within the last 10 years and by now they are either rusted out or broken down. They had nothing but headaches with them, problem after problem. I also have family members who drive toyotas and hondas and they have had no problems whatsoever. FORD = FOUND ON ROAD DEAD.

My ford focus titanium is crap. I suffer from Asthma and drive through Sydney’s M5 tunnel (around 5km long) twice daily. Each time the air conditioner will turn from recirculated air to fresh air all its own even when it is on manual control, sucking in car and truck exhaust. If you are reading this and you are thinking of buying a Focus. Don’t ! Ford wont do anything to help me nor will the dealership. The M5 tunnel is one of the worst in the world for exhaust and toxic fumes DONT BUY FORD
I have rust on my door kick plates….after only 2 months of ownership. Makes me wonder what else is rusting.
we considered a 2012 focus, 2012 cruze, 2012 elantra. test drove them all and ended up buying an elantra.

I could not agree more. I had the exact experience. I had the car (rental) for four days. The automatic was literally driving me crazy. Every time I slowed down to under 20 miles per hour it would stay in a high gear when I accelerated.
This car has transmission problems. And glitches all over the car that doesnt work right. Prices have dropped since the bad reviews from consumers. All these media companies must get paid from the manufacturers because they have left a lot of stuff out. Mazda 3 is a higher quality and overall better car.
It’s funny how you look at a Corolla or a Mazda3 while the Focus has better interior materials. A Corolla, really??? A SE Focus hatchback with the Sport package and manual transmission is the sweet spot and reasonably priced
i think the european interiors still look better, but i havent seen the new ones yet in the US or EU
This car has transmission issues. It is not smooth During brisk exceleration. Another american made piece of shit.
These new Focus’s have unproven reliability. Looking at the old Ford compacts, they were junk so until these cars are proven as reliable as Civic’s and Corolla’s, people rip on them.
