may i know r u use the liquid silicone or the solid?
I don’t know the max temp for this particular brand, but normally silicone is fine until 350 F. Baking silicone can handle into the 400s. I have had no problem using these molds for hot candy, which is around 350 F because I take my candy up to the caramel point (starting to burn.) So wax and soap is no “big thang.” You will want to support large molds in plaster or sand if it’s a big soap mold. This thing candy mold I demo would bend and deform if larger.
If I make a mold with this, how much heat can it stand? Can it take hot wax or melted soaps?

Good to be safe, but in this case there’s no safety issue, Sculpey is rated by the ACMI, and according to a statement by their medical doctor, Dr.Woodhall Stopford, you could eat 100 grams of the stuff (big mouthful) and not get sick. While eating it is a stupid idea, touching Sculpey to a washable surface that will touch food is safe.
is it safe for me to put chocolate in the mold , because i pressed the mold on the sculpey. Is it safe to eat because of the chemicals .

can you use this for making hard candy too?
yeah.. i found that out when i saw the package at my local craft store… but im curious as to if its safe if she made the mold cast from the polymer sculpture.. since you shouldnt eat off/out of things that you used polyclays with..
do the same but with a toy little helicopter if u want a 3d mold so it stands put in a cup use liquid food safe silicone ant then cut in half when makein the choclate put bk in the cup u used fill with choclate wait 4 it 2 set take out remove mold n bingo
if u read when she showed u the packagin when it was 1st up it did say FOOD safe
so say you wanted to make resin pieces instead of candy, is it possible or was it originally made for resin?

They can give you the good oil on them, there is a few used ones for sale there too, around 50-75 grand…There was a couple out at the Willowbank track in Ipswich last Thursday, for the money and engine size, they are impressive, what hey lose in the straights they make up in the bends… and a sequential 6 speed box to boot too, I’m looking hard at one too…

I don’t know whats more amazing that a 245hp car is faster then cars with probably double the power to weight or that a veyron that weighs 4 times as much as the Ariel and the radical can keep up on such a tight circuit.

You are right, of course. Question is – how much. For that to state we would have to get acces to detailed speeds and times in many points of measurement. Another thing – I could be wrong – maybe Matt Prior was talking about weather conditions (dry handling, 0:25), not about circuit itself. What do you think?

Imagine having this car for every day use. You’d be virgin till forever LOL
0.5 seconds on a 1 minute lap is a big difference. So after 20 laps, the Radical will be 10 seconds ahead.
