Nice job clean crisp, so you put down about 10 coats total…3 silver 3 green 4 clear 15-30 min flash time between each coat does that sound about right…cheers

Question, I’m attempting to spray my first car. I’ve painted all of the interior, inner door, door jams, engine compartment, and so on. What I’d like to know is what do I need to do to create a seamless line between the already painted section to the newly painted exterior?

I have previously sprayed the engine bay (which came out well, so i’m told) and am intending to really take my time with prep, but my question is what would you recommend with regards to flatting between coats?…

Nice video & very informative. I have a 67 Chevelle that is hundreds of hours from this point but it helps to see & be explained the process for a nice finish. I agree with you completely on how funny it is to see people get so angry over you tube videos. Funny thing is they talk very tough on their comments & couldnt even look you eye to eye if that day ever came to meet. Lol. I call them Utube gangsters
It has to be wet sanded with very, very fine grit sandpaper.

ONE major problem with putting clear on top it fades in the sun if you want the same finish as this don’t bother with the silver underneath just use colour as in the green and mix your clear with your top coat this will stop the sun fucking the paint and also give it the same 3 dimensional look that candy has.

I have a 1949 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe with paint code 980 and inter code of 185. Can i paint it and add a pearl or candy to bring alittle more shine to it
what is your opinion on orange peel effect? i see this on every single factory painted car! its so ugly and ruins the surface of the car.
