After spending 33 years sitting outside in the desert, the broken down Buick Special is revived by David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of HOT ROD and Rick Pewe of 4-Wheel & Off-Road magazine. Rick’s mother bought the car when it was near new and parked it when the transmission failed in 1978. In 2011, the guys spent two and a half days wrenching on the car, with the hopes of driving it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. Come along for the ride and see what happens!
